Another Witty Saturday

So today is Saturday and like all Saturdays, my day starts at the crack of dawn with two little people acting as though the world is going to end because they are "dying from hunger" as my 8 year old says. So I get up as usual and cook breakfast for my little people. This time it was french toast, turkey bacon and eggs. We have turkey bacon and eggs for every breakfast because my husband caught a deal and bought out the whole store. So I try to be creative with this unending supply of poultry. This time my creativity only led me to french toast, but hey everyone was happy so that's all that matters.

After breakfast, we start our Saturday cleaning. My 8 year old came up with this "clever" idea to get paid to do his chores...."where they do that at"??? When I was a kid, the only payment we got was not getting popped in the mouth for saying which chore we didn't want to do. After that laugh was over, we cleaned the downstairs part of the house and we all go our separate ways. 

I go off to my office and do some work, my husband is entertaining the toddler by trying to get him to take a nap...funniest thing ever! And my oldest is in his room playing. About 20 minutes later, my son comes to me and says the one thing no parent wants to hear..."I'm Bored". Why do children say this? I think it's every parent's pet peeve.

He got over his dilemma and found something else to occupy his time. Now I am off to cleaning the upper part of my house. It seems to be the only time I can catch a break around here!
